From its beginnings in 1994 with a Bible delivery trip to China, the Messengers has always sought to support, encourage and stand alongside Christians in the access restricted lands of South East Asia.

Early missionary activity in this region laid a strong foundation for the work which continues today, but the expulsion of missionaries in the last century led to often extreme persecution and hardship amongst the people groups of these countries; the persecution has resulted in amazing church growth, and the Messengers is committed to supporting Christians in these countries as they work tirelessly, often in the face of great opposition, to spread the good news of Jesus Christ among their own people.
